Art Spotlight: "Sacred Feminine"

"Women, all females, are the manifestation of Mother Earth in human form. It is essential to collectively struggle to recover our status as Daughters of the Earth."

Art Spotlight: "Shakti: Water Spirit"

Full color digital print
A serene Water spirit. She represents the element of Water - quenching, cleansing, essential to Life.  Water's power is pure, fluid, flexible, soothing and deep.  It is symbolizes the subconscious, intuition and adaptability.

"Water, thou hast no taste, no color, no odor; canst not be defined, art relished while ever mysterious.
Not necessary to life, but rather life itself,
thou fillest us with a gratification that exceeds the delight of the senses."
—Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Wind, Sand and Stars, 1939

"Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield.
As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard.
This is another paradox: what is soft is strong."
—Lao Tzu

This is the third piece in a series I'm working on called "Shakti", which features iconic goddess figures.

Full color prints available in a wide selection of sizes and printing options in my Digital Art Shop (prices vary).

Art Spotlight: "Shakti: Night Song"

Full color digital print
A sacred dance under the lambent glow of moon and stars. The moon radiates feminine energy - creative, receptive, intuitive.  The stars are our guides as they turn along their celestial path through the heavens.  Night is a time for mystery, dreaming and rejuvenation.

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
-Lord Byron

This is the second piece in a series I'm working on called "Shakti", which features iconic goddess figures.

Digital Prints

In addition to the handmade screen prints available on my Etsy Shop, I have a selection of digital prints available through Fine Art America.

Several of these designs are available exclusively as digital prints, others are alternate versions of some of my mandala designs.

I did a lot of research when choosing a Print-On-Demand service for my artwork. I found Fine Art America to offer the highest-quality printing, substrate selection and finishing options.  You can choose from a variety of fine art papers, stretched canvas (ready to hang, no frame necessary!) or acrylic prints.  The acrylic prints are the newest option, with the image printed on the back of a piece of 1/4 thick clear acrylic which can be hung with wire, or aluminum mounting posts.

Each print option is available in a variety of sizes, and paper prints can be ordered complete with mats and frames, at very competitive prices.  Simply follow the ordering process to choose your mat colors and sizes and frame moldings.  Preview images give you a visualization of the finished product as you go along.

You can also order customized greeting cards.
